In the small amount of time that is left over from our research we provide educational activities, talks and lessons on the importance of the environment and the need to protect each region. We address schools and the local communities of the eastern Aegean islands as we believe that the development of environmental awareness and the participation of the local communities,especially children, in actions related to the protection of their natural environment is the best “investment” we can make to achieve real environmental protection.
We frequently organize environmental education activities in the field for the local schools, at which the students study, and get familiar with, the natural richness of their island.
